Panetta Mercato is a well-known Italian supermarket and deli group across Sydney, recognised for its premium produce, specialty groceries, and artisan deli offerings. When Panetta engaged EUX Digital, their existing Shopify website was generating only modest online sales and was struggling to support the operational realities of a fresh food retail business.

The Challenge

Our Solution

EUX designed and built a custom WooCommerce platform with fulfilment logistics
built directly into the shopping experience.

Custom Pickup & Delivery System

We developed a bespoke Pickup & Delivery (PAD) plugin that guides customers
through the fulfilment process before they begin shopping.

Customers can

Select pickup or delivery
Enter their suburb for delivery eligibility
Choose available fulfilment days based on store cut-off times
Select a pickup time or delivery window

Once a suburb is selected, the system automatically
allocates the order to the correct store location,
eliminating the need for staff to manually distribute orders.

Note: Orders get allocated to each store based on the suburb

Shopping Experience

The storefront was designed to make building a
grocery basket fast and intuitive.

Key improvements include

Clear category navigation for produce, deli, grocery and fridge items
Variant selection directly from category pages
One-click add-to-cart functionality
