Meal plan builder
Runs inside Salesforce
StoreConnect design and custom development
For Able Foods, we designed and built a custom meal plan experience on StoreConnect, the ecommerce platform inside Salesforce. Customers can build meal plans, filter by allergens, manage deliveries and see how their plan fits their service agreement.

The problem
Able Foods makes meals for NDIS and Home Care customers.
Their customers do not simply buy one meal at a time.
They set up a plan that fits their needs, preferences and service agreement.
-
Meals on a plan
Customers order meals regularly, so the store had to work around a meal plan rather than a one-off cart.
-
Allergies and dietary needs
Customers needed to filter meals based on allergens and dietary requirements, without reading through every label.
-
Service agreements
NDIS and Home Care customers needed to see how their meal plan fits their service agreement.
What we built
We worked on the project from late 2024 to August 2025, alongside Able Foods’ team and StoreConnect, designing the customer experience and building custom functionality on the StoreConnect platform.
UX and design
Designed around how customers order
We started with how Able Foods customers choose, manage and change their meals.
We designed the journey from choosing a plan to checkout, and how customers manage their plan afterwards.
We designed the key pages, meal plan screens and customer account experience.
The experience was built around customers who come back, adjust their meals and manage an ongoing plan.
Meal plan builder
A meal plan builder on StoreConnect
Customers build their plan in a few clear steps.
Customers choose how many meals they want from each category.
An allergen selector hides meals that do not suit them.
A frequency selector sets how often their meals are delivered.
Filters narrow the menu down so customers can find the right meals quickly.
Customer dashboard
Plans customers manage themselves
Once a plan is set up, customers can look after it from their dashboard.
A calculator in the dashboard works out how the customer’s plan fits their service agreement.
Customers can change their meals, delivery and shipping details, or cancel from their account.
We also built custom forms on StoreConnect for Able Foods.
Working with StoreConnect
One project, three teams
StoreConnect runs the platform, and we built custom design and functionality on top of it.
We met with StoreConnect’s team from December 2024 to plan how the features would be built on their platform.
From April to August 2025, we reviewed progress with Able Foods’ team every week.
We’re part of StoreConnect’s partner program.

If your business already runs deeply on Salesforce and you want the store inside Salesforce, StoreConnect can be worth considering.
If you want more flexibility around the store itself, or want more control over hosting, plugins, custom checkout and ecommerce features, WooCommerce may be the better fit. WooCommerce can also be connected to Salesforce.
We’ll talk you through both options.
